The On-campus pager currently offered is the Motorola "Advisor" Alpha/Numeric pager. The paging system covers a 25 to 30 mile radius around campus, depending on factors that may cause interference.
The service does not have an initial charge for the pager as the monthly fee covers the rental, set up, and maintenance of the pager.
The Alpha/Numeric pager will interact with CallPilot and e-mail systems.
